I have the exact same rod and reel setup, CPS 865.4/FlyStart, and its treated me very well so far. I've only used it a couple weeks, but I love it.

Don't usually pack much food. Granola bar once in awhile. I never leave home without water and a good cigar.

Don't use their poppers, but I do have a lot of other flies from Bett's. Seems to me my most productive wooly buggers came from Betts when I first started fly fishing.
