Re: Growing Pains: Haunted by GAS

GAS = Gear Acquisition Syndrome

As far as tying... If you are in this for the long haul then yes it is ultimately cheaper as the mats you purchase for one patterns will ultimately be used in...

Re: Belize is out, Driftless is in - any local advice?

Re: Belize is out, Driftless is in - any local advice?

So I spoke to Andy and he is in with giving the steelhead a go. After just a little research I noticed that we have two options:

Is there...

Re: Fly Shop Owners?

Funny... I've been reading responses here and it's gotten me to do a little thinking. (dangerous, I know)

We have two fly shops in St. Louis, both about a mile, maybe two apart from each other. ...

Re: Mud hole....and immigration...

Not cool at all. Way un-cool to fish on top of someone else. If they were poaching it makes even worse.

Never a conservation officer around when you need one. I'm guessing NM is like most...

When I pass I am going to be cremated and have my cremains go into my favorite water(s) that I fish regularly. I won't be the least bit annoyed by those fishing right on top of me as long as they...

Since 2007 my friend Andy and I have fished every Labor Day together. 2014 wasn't any different other than the fact that Andy has been dealt a really bad hand health wise. Truth be told, I don't...

Re: What's best for my z-axis 590?

I agree. Z-Axis 590 = Rio Gold. I gave this rod to my youngest son and imo is a great, if not perfect line for this rod.
