Smilingduck : Agreed had one and bonehead got rid of it. Dumb!!! The Sage SLT 9' 4 is "close" Will not let it go.

SweetandSalt you would enjoy the Helios first series midflex 8'6"4 & 8'6" 5 as they are sweet spot in the lineup. Some have called them 4.5& 5.5 but I will say they are totally more pleasant casting...

I have the same rod and just fished it recently with WF 4 Sharkskin . In fact the three 8'6" 3/4/5 rods all cast nicely with WF actual weight lines. Nice loading rods with slower casting action.

Well done. So for roughly $300+ you got a dream rod that looks like $ 500-600 custom built. Very nice as the closest custom Steffen is more and as wonderful those tapers are the finish on your rod...
