There will be plenty of options in that part of Montana. Stop in and talk with the guys at the local fly shop and get the real story. I was just in Kalispell/West Glacier for a soccer tournament this...

I will cast my vote for the Woolly Bugger. As much as I want to like this pattern I have never caught a fish on one. Give me a Zonker or a Muddler over a Woolly Bugger any day.

I started fishing only bamboo about two years ago. I will be making a bunch of rods in the next few years and get alot of satisfaction from the fact that my fishing rod was handmade in the USA....

There are primative campsites along most of the Conejos and at the Platoro reservoir. I don't know about the flow levels of the river as it is a tail water but you could always fish above...

If it was me, I would head through Red lodge, over the Beartooth Highway to Cooke City and fish in the park. Then fish the Yellowstone to Livingston and get back on I 90. This may take more than 2...

you stop for roadkill, any roadkill including skunks (poor mans polar bear on the stripe) for your flytying supplies. I might as well make this my first post.
