I like GM. My brother likes Dodge. One of my other brothers likes Ford.
Same difference. It's your choice as to what feels better..

Re: Light weight floattube for backpacking

Cindy, that looks like the float tube that the guy called shigspeed (another forum) was designing the past couple of years. I know he passed away a little while ago. Maybe his design lives on.

Re: Scott F2 3wt Length

Ok, lets try this once more.
Here is Cameron's response...

It does sound like you're looking for a Scott F2 for the type of water you plan to fish. I don't think you could go wrong with...

Re: My 4 Stroke Won't Start

Check for spark. I had a problem similar to yours and it ended up being the ignition pack.

Re: Scott F2 3wt Length

Ah, no he didn't.

"The Orvis three weight is totally a different animal. The Orvis is a better choice if you're looking for an all around three weight and not a full flex dry fly perfection that...

Re: Is there such a thing as a 'good' cup of Instant Coffee?

Fred, you already mentioned the 4 letter words describing instant coffee. Don't compromise.
This thing is great. It's called an Aeropress. Heat your water to 180, 190, and let it do it's thing....

Re: Salt Lake City Classes?

Two good answers right there. Actually 3, but the 3rd is in March.
Scheels also has them, but I'd stick with WR or FT.

What boat brand and model? Vinyl bladders, urethane bladders. Outer cover if it has one- nylon, pvc.
But playing it safe not knowing what you have, deflate the toons and roll them up loosely. I'm...

Re: Scott F2 3wt Length

6'6" is the winner. Paired up with a CFO 123 and Sharkskin, it'a a fantastic rod that really surprises you when you fish it. I'm lucky, this and an Allen Icon 10' 3wt. I'm in heaven on the small...

Re: Glass VS Graphite

I'd like to add, and Riptide probably knows this already, his 60's Eagle Claw was the original Wright and McGill, not the same company as todays EC, which are mass produced in China.
Just like...

Re: Want a new 4wt - hung up on length

Before you pull the trigger on an Elkhorn, look at Allen Icon or Volant in a 10'. Both 3 and 4wt. Icons are a fantastic rod for the price. The extra length is negligible when casting. Icon is a...

Re: NFO Assault XX

Longmark, in case you didn't know, Joni is my better half. You'll like the Dragonfly. We got the frame for ours. Puts me up a little higher when rowing. My back loves that.

Re: Orvis cork and ring reel seat

One on my Orvis 4wt. One Ounce, one on my Scott F2. For those rods they're perfect and like Fred said, easy to balance them so they're perfect for you.
