Interesting e-mail: Own a rod you've never fished?

Had to think for a moment and two came to mind. One is a beautiful Boo Spey with tape slice connections the other is a 2/3 spey 'trouter.' The Boo comes out of its case and I just hold it in my...

Re: Waders for kids?

Re: A knock at your door and its a local Church Minister.

Nothing "mysterious" at all if you take time to pay attention. There are times my head is so full of BS I just can't hear the soft voice. Today was an exceptionally good breakfast. I'm waiting for my...

Re: Troy, montana

Sounds like my first trip on the Deschutes River. Fishing the 'Reservation' side and the guide (you have to have one) dropped of 'here.' Sank like a rock into the river bottom mud. Half turn and toss...

First the answer is 'No.' But I always start with Google Earth to scope out the area, roads, etc. If its moving water in Montana it has fish, you just have to figure out how to get there/access. The...
