I expected to see smallmouths, after seeing the pike and walleye. Although, like mcnerney said, you already have a large variety of fish to show.

I was on my way home from work the morning of May 31st and stopped about 8 - 10 cars behind a school bus. I was just sitting there drumming on my tank, hands not on the grips....

I just bought an Okuma SLV 8/9. Does anyone have any opinions about these reels? Good or bad? I know it's not the top-o-the-line, but it's what my wallet would allow.

I've had a lot of fun targeting crappie with a flyrod! Most have been caught by stripping a pink woolly bugger in one of my local ponds....
