Here in south Denver have over 15" and broken pine tree limbs. 81 degrees on Friday. Glad for the water.

Thanks for the help. He leaves for Everett in 3 weeks with Mom helping:D. Will see how that goes as I am still teaching school and will make it out maybe mid July.

I would say the Ark there is a lot of free camping in the canyon down river from Salida. No snow and good fishing.

Pick up A 10ft 6wt Scott radian and Abel SD 6/7 reel for high sticking and stillwater fishing at the Denver Fly fishing show last Friday. Can't wait to use this outfit.

On the ark you and camp for free just east of Salida at the boat ramp. Would be great with a pop-up Just drove by the ark and it is very high. Fished the San Juan and had great luck.

Thanks for input. As a diehard G scott fan it is nice to here your review as you own a sage one to compare. I have casted the Radian just no fun up close but 20' and out great.

The SP is where I cut my teeth in 1982 in the canyon used the same lead and flys. The indicator with tooth pick but a little more rounded. Still get up there about twice a year.

I have an old 2000 Renzetti that I put the cam lock midge jaw have used for my years. I just bought the Renzetti 3000 vise and like it a lot better for midges. You get more room with out you hands on...
