so i go to do some fishing at a little pond i go to and the first thing i see is someone has caught a 20lb+ carp and left it on the shore.:mad:some things i just dont understand:(

Ill tie on a 6 or 7 foot length of 20lb mono for bass. Its easier than constantly tying on new tippet every two seconds. If the bass consistently follow the fly to my feet then ill start using tapers.

In ny all stocked trout have one of there lower fins clipped completly off.:stretcher. Doesnt seem to effect the fish though.

thanks for the input i went striper fishing in maine last summer and had a few follow the fly right to my feet. didnt hook any but we caught loads of stingrays the size of dinner plates...
