Great video! Hmmm, looks like I may need to tie straight and hunchback scuds depending on presentation.

So far I'm finding the best way to tie hunchbacks is to cut 2 triangular pieces of lead tape...

Re: BVK or Eastfork

The Eastfork did feel a little more powerful than the BVK but the BVK seemed lighter and more sensitive. Hmmm I'm gonna cast them both with the new reel and see how that feels. I do have a 6 weight...

BVK or Eastfork

Can anyone make a comparison with these rods? I'm thinking about going with the BVK or Eastfork in a 9' 5wt. I'll be mostly trout fishing the Colorado front range small to medium rivers and as big as...

Re: Custom fly reel handles?

Beautiful woods! I'd love to have a shiny custom wood carved or turned handle. Maybe even painted. This is overboard but wood trimmed in aluminum, nickel, anything. Maybe set a couple diamonds,...

Custom fly reel handles?

I just purchased an Allen Trout 2 fly reel and am fancy to the idea of getting a cool new handle. Are there any knurled handles or other decorative quality accessories available in the market place?...

Re: Fishing around Cheyenne?

I live in Fort Collins and know the area pretty well. I think you may have to consider going a little further than an hour away. Within an hour is the Laramie River which I've fished in Laramie and...
