The RPL was a special class of the sage rods. A lot of rods come and go and even to this day I love the action of many of the RPL's compared to many newer rods including many of the new sage models....

RMNP is one of those places where even though there is a ton of folks visiting, it fairly is easy to find your own private stretch to fish. The fishing combined with the scenery is magical up there....
