In the first picture it looks like the cracks run all the way under the thread, if that's the case it probably won't last too long, I would definitely return it if I could.

Sorry no photos it was too dark, the first few nights I couldn't fish it, way too many flies on the water, in the mornings the river had a 1/4 inch of spinners covering the water.

White Flies

I went out this morning and the river was covered with white fly spinners(Coffin Fly), does anybody fish this hatch. I tried it a few years ago, its a tough one, tons of spinners on the water going...

Looks good, I put the open end of my case through my back window and into the cab, I just have to secure it to my steering wheel when I leave it. Works good as long as its not raining
