Of course the boxes are in pockets. I tie them to the vest to preclude them from floating down the river if dropped. A friend lost a box on the Pecos due to it not being attached to his vest.

The rods from Los Pinos should be great rods. The Los Pinos rods on Sage blanks are, in my opinion, much better made than Sage rods.
