Well, I went with some backing and the WFF 3 wt ('cuz I had it sitting here vs having to go buy the DT) using an Albright. The line comes up to within about 1/8" of the top of the "line holding area"...

Got one.... it's lost in my reloading room now..... Didn't much of a chance to try it out, but I got it 'cuz it seemed to be something to make them easier to tie....

Yeah, but nail knots are a PITA (I haven't learned to tie them consistently) and where I plan on using the 3 wt, I could literally cut a DT in half and still probably have all the line I need....

This is exactly my point.. If a shop\store (whatever kind it is) treats me well then I support them. We need the local shops.... there is often a wealth of local first hand knowledge to be gotten...

Other than fishing some of the lakes (Twin Lakes, Keystone, Donegal, Mamoth, etc. probably loyalhanna creek, Little Mahoning, and the Yough come to mind first...
