It was not on tailwater and the pattern was a Gold Tungston Bead Olive Hares Ear has worked since December not a lot of fish but enough not to change.

I use hand tied leaders all the time i like mine to roll and land lightly on the water.I have friends that use just the level leader and just pile it on the water but most of these guys are casting...

Heres a pattern i got from one of the swaps last year. i liked the way it looked so i tied some over the weekend.It has legs on both sides however the picture looks like it doesn't....
