I own a ZXL and I just test cast the Accel last week. The ZXL is faster and I like it better. I would not buy the Accel, but that is just MY personal taste and by no means a slam against the accel....

Ive had a Sieko divers watch that's automatic since 1988 while I was in the military. Still wearing it today. Paid less than $200 for it if I remember correctly.

Simple answer...go cast every 5wt rod you can get your hands on and buy the one that feels best to you.
