Re: Which camera?
After reading through this thread, then doing my due-diligence searches on the reviews of waterproof pocket cameras, I found the "Olympus Stylus TG-2 Ihs" to be best suited for my purposes.

Re: Float Tube Worries
Yes, the very same. They were terrific on our 150 mile float trip, and very simple to set up, hardly any time involved. As far as hanging together, these things really are tough!!! We went through...

Re: Float Tube Worries
These are very tough little boats!
3 of us took a trip up to Alaska, and took two of these little boats, folded up, and tucked under the wings of a float plane. We drifted back down the Dawson...

Re: Float Tube Worries
I hope this isn't taking you off topic, but have you given any thought to a canoe, or perhaps one of the light pontoon boats.
After stepping on treble hooks, two different times, while wading out...

Re: Orvis superfine fullflex 3.0 vs Midflex?
Good information here, and I thank each & everyone of you for your time!
It is colder than heck here now, with high winds, so I won't be tossing any lines with this new (to me) set up for awhile. ...

Re: Orvis superfine fullflex 3.0 vs Midflex?
Thank you fly-guy.
I am looking forward to compairng these two rods. I imagine the Orvis will be a fine rod for drys. The LL works well with drys, and nymphs.
Respects,
Richard

Orvis superfine fullflex 3.0 vs Midflex?
Hi Guys:
I'm looking for opinions on these two. I have the opportunity to choose between on these rods. The fullflex is a 7' rod, and the Midflex is a 7'6" rod.
The rod would be used for some...

Re: All around 4wt
Were it my choice, I would choose either the Circa, or a ZXL. Both are smooth casters, and either would work very well for what you're looking for.

It's hard to argue when you start spouting drivel. I know, you're probably confused about the word drivel, so here's a definition for you: "childish, silly, or meaningless talk or thinking;...

I like the looks of the Sage rods (I must, I have 8 of them). But rather than argue which brand has the snappiest looks, there is a much simpler solution, Dan, you buy your flying pigs, and I'll...

Re: Fly Line conditioner ?
Hey Diver Dan:
Good to know.
I'll buy a bottle of it today, and give it a try. Worst that can happen is, if I don't care for it, I can use it on the Jeep!!
