Grandma passed a few months ago. I got her subaru. 2003 impreza 2.5ts hatch... 16,000 miles. She never drove. Fits a 9footer front to back with a couple inches to spare.

+1 for your speedster purchase I got a 3 to pair on my 9'9 One for streamers ad floating. The reel is amazing. No barreling, rapid retrieval and it's looks great. You won't be disappointed.

Salt, the lamson performs as beautifully as it looks. Lightning fast retrieval speed, and no line barreling. A truly great reel. LOVE the ONE/Speedster combo.

Contrary to your thought on colorado. There are tons of awesome tailwaters that can hold massive trout. Check out the Frying Pan, Yampa, Blue, Taylor. They all hold HUGE fish but van be tough to fish...

I got the speedster...... B-E-A-utiful!! Its got a great feel, light weight and retrieves line very quickly without barreling. I paired her on my new 9'6" 6wt ONE. AWESOME!!!!
