:D I started with a 5 wt. years ago now I have rods from a 1 wt to 8 wt I still feel a 5 wt is the best all round rod I own.Go with the 5 it will handle any thing you run into.

;) Diamond Rush covered most of what you need.Depending on where you are starting will dictate the streams you can hit, I would bring some pink weenee's in 10 or 12 along with green ones
