Rutland is only about 20 min East of the Castleton River. It is very good in the spring and is shaded enough to hold fish into the summer. You will even have a chance at some large fish too.

Kcmo late april/early may

I live in NH but will be in KCMO the last week of April/first week of May. I know very little about the area (just what I saw doing web searches) and am wondering if there is any decent fly fishing...

I will be driving from Ft. Smith MT to Craig MT with a buddy this summer. We have a guides lined up for the two destinations, but we are looking for some suggestions as to where to stop to fish...
