Default Steelhead Flies

Been tying flies for a year or so now and am wondering if anybody out there has any good/not overly technical patterns for fall steelhead....appreciate any feedback

For fall Steelies you can't beat an egg pattern of some sort; glo-bugs, sucker spawn, ghost eggs....Do a google search for the tying instructions...

Below is a fly that I use for Brown Trout. Change it up a bit to get a great Steelhead fly. I would post a pic of the Steelhead variation, but I'm out of them. I also don't have all the materials to tie one up.

Click the image to open in full size.

Do the following changes:
1. Change the hook to a traditional Steelhead hook.
2. Use a black zonker strip and black crystal chenille.
3. Instead of a hackle collar, use a red or pink bead.

This is a two minute tie.
