Default Palmered Lite Cahill Doozy

Hi Guys I hope you fellows like Catskill Dry Fly's, I do I like tying them as sweet as i can....I followed the Dettes style....I haven't been tying them too much latley and thats a same, I hope Mary will forgive me....

I hear ya,

Some of these things will one day be like seeing a Model T on the road. I do fear that tying the traditional and classic dry fly is fast becoming a lost art. I tie them all, from the Female Beverkill to the Pink Lady. You will seldom find a copy of the old Iron Blue Dunn in a modern fly box and for sure Hendrickson isn't found in the threads often either. Keep tying them and I wish you a great season fishing them,

Have no fear gentleman Catskill Dries are the mainstay of my dry box. I would like to see the Female Beverkill too, this thread reminds me that I have to get to work on my trout boxes!

That's always been one of the prettier dry flies IMO. You made it look even better with the smaller hackle over the body. I like that a lot. Wish we had them in the west.
