Post Trout gummis...

Here are two Caddis patterns that are part of a series I have been working on that incorporate UV Chewee Skin into their design.

The STUFF used to tie this pattern, sans a Green Dazzle bead...

This fly comes out of Blue Ribbon Flies and they have a video on it.

McKenzie SOFT HACKLE Caddis

HOOK: TMC 3761, Daiichi 1560, # 8-#14
THREAD: Wapsi Ultra 70 denier Black ( 140 denier for larger sizes)
ABDOMEN: Uv Chewee Skin (Caddis Green)
THORAX: UV Ice Dub, Black
HACKLE: Partridge or Brahma Hen, Brown

A pattern out of The Caddis Fly Shop in Eugene, OR and they have the instructional video on it.

This is a very interesting material, that lends itself to a wide range of soft bodied fly patterns...

Thanks for showing that PT. Once again very nice flies. May have to get some of that material. I had never heard of it before you posted this.
