A good friend that passed away this year came up with the idea of MUSKRAT. It is water repellent so worked better than a Zonker strip of Cross cut strips.
The tail idea is Morris.
What the heck is Nutria hair? Where do you find it?

Joni...Larry opened his wife's wardrobe at night took out her fur coat and cut some stripes
Nutria is a really beautiful fur,Larry sent me a "beast",I've tied dries,nymphs and a streamer using it.Ask him where he can get it.

Nutria is the fur from a Coypu, better known as a Louisiana swamp rat. They are a rodent but seem to me more like a beaver. Check out the rear feet and tail in this video:

Joni: I buy the Nutria fur pelts on Ebay, they usually go for $20-25.

-Hi,that day I will do SBS.

-Tail of goat skin (soft) and ears.

-This is not hard to do, easier than with fur, and is much easier to fly when it is wet, and if treated with a dry fly preparations, then the extra swimmer.
