Default took a shot at a salmon type streamer

what do you think????? would this catch fish....I think so.

Neal,

Great color combination and it will work fine I'm sure of that. Consider it a trout streamer until you cast to salmon then it is a salmon streamer. Most of my fish come on a hook with a little wider bend but if you fish the flies primarily for trout then use standard streamer hooks. Always remember that if the fly looks good to you, that is more important than what I think.
