Thanks guys! Everyone that got in on the last nymph fly swap got one of the Beadhead Caddis Larvas made by Jimmie and his nymph looks just as good or better than mine. I can't wait to try this pattern out.

I got to thinkin after seeing your caddis because I remembered seeing a similar one. A friend of mine invented this little honey. Thought you might like to see your flies cousin.

Larry,
Here's the recipe for that orange bead head caddis.
Hook: size 14 scud hook
Bead: Orange glass. I like the metallic core
Ab: Olive/Brown goose biot. Since it's a caddis, smooth side out.
Thorax: I used some brownish coarse dubbing in a loop. Or hares ear.
Legs: Indian hen neck-natural. Tied typ. V style.
Head: Same dubbing as above, but just dubbed on the thread. Picked out.
