Those doll eyes will be gone by the second cast unless they're coated with epoxy or something

I like the fly with the eyes. I think if you use a good glue, it will stay on. Either way that fly will catch fish though, great job.

Love the flies...

Craft eyes are great and they are easy (and cheap!!) to give a permanent fix without too much difficulty...

I have tied marabou pike flies much like your top fly and with my light cure resin draw a fine line with a 14 guage taper tip from the eye to the whipping at the eye... then cure... essentially you then have a clear tab on your eye... the LCR I use is Bug-Bond... remains flexible and doesn't yellow (and isn't tacky when its cured!)... and the eye isn't going anywhere... I fish mainly for pike so stuff needs to be hard wearing
