Default Spring Olives

I started the winter fly dressing classes last week and the first session was spring olives tied on my new hooks i got manufactured last month.
As you can see they are curved hooks and the hooking power of these are incredible.

Hi Laurie, those are very nice flies, you obviously have alot of talent and thanks for sharing them. You get hooks manufactured? Hope you don't mind me asking how? Thank you again.....

Laurie: Beautiful work as always! Those new hooks look a little like the Klinkhamer style, at any rate, very nice looking.

All those flies look downright lethal, and I am certainly a fan of that hook pattern. It'd likely be a good emerger hook too.

Gorgeous flies! Are those biot bodies?

One thing I have always found annoying is that many hooks available today do not have a wide enough gap to allow for a thick hackle, foam underbody, etc..... and it looks like those hooks you had made would solve that problem! Providing they are fine and light enough to allow a minimalist pattern to float.
