more moose patterns

Spent this morning doing a few wets and nymphs with the moose mane, really happy with the results,now to wait till next year to try them out on the river.





also got an order for the dries this morning

Beautiful flies as usual Laurie! The thickness of the moose mane give excellent segmentation, as Larry says. What is fiber durability like? I have tried a similar approach with deer hair and it isn't the strongest of fibers when wrapped.

AJ the fibres are fairly robust and i have not broken one yet.
been doing a whole range of patterns with it today and i am just doing some mosquitos
