Here is a pattern i am tying up for next year i will get the SBS on later hopefully

Hi Larry
the body is stripped duck quill the centre spine nicked with a scalpel then peeled off,really tricky technique

I bet tricky is an understatement - what is really nice though is the width of the abdominal segmentation, which is perfect for the hook and insect....

Hi Hugh
Believe me it can be heart breaking , I will put the sbs on how to strip it tomorrow, a good tip is you can either put coloured threads under the quill to get great shades of colour or dye up the quill .
