Default Two fast water flies.

Black HIVI .
My son asked me to tie this very simple black fly with an orange wing, must admit it was a great idea because he caught lots of trout in Austria with it.It floats high,it's easy to see.

After Jan'sI mainly fished with this pattern I tied after one of my friend Jan's favorites,it's a great fast water fly.

JP: Very nice looking flies, I can see where that orange wing would come in handy trying to keep it in sight while drifting in fast water.

Is that what you were fishing on the Trevezal and the Lergue, J-P? If so, I never saw them?

Seriously, nice patterns. I particularly like the black Hi-Vis tie.

Allan,I don't think I used the black HiVi when we fished together....I tied some for Nico before going to Austria.

Those are two neat looking flies. May be worth an experiment for the Sierra's. The "Black Martinez" is a hot one here (wet) so why not try a dry.
