Hi Dryfly Purist. Could you tell me if the hackle is set with a drop of glue on top of the post? Tob1 shared this technique with us, and I'm wondering if you also do this to set the post hackle.

Yepp, the parachute cdc hackle is made with a drop of meltglue on top
To make the hackle i use a Magic tool and a tread that can be split. I put the cdc in the split tread and hackle it around the wing, and finish with a drop of glue that i press down with my thumb.

Terje!
