Thank You!!
Now I finally know where this pattern came from. I have been using this fly with a Pinkish underbody as an emerger pattern for the P.M.D.'s on the South Fork of the Snake the last couple of years with good success.

Keep up the great work you Crazy Canucks.

That's what I use it for in smaller sizes, but I also believe it would work as a Caddis Emerger in larger sizes and colors. As with most good flies, "it represents nothing inparticular, and yet represents everything".

ya nothing much hatches around here on the v. its not like most rivers with all these main hatches. as long as it looks edible the fish eat um here. I have watched a big fat moth fall to the water and get mauled by a bass even before it hit the water!

fyshstykr, we go POUNDED!

This is such an easy fly! Where have I been! I like the pinkish dubbing idea.
Thanks all, I am off to the tying table.
