Default Sedges for next year

Now the season is closed i am tying up sedge patterns for next year.
I was experimenting on a few patterns this year and they worked fairly well
the red arse deer hair peter
this is based on the green peter but i have substituted the wing for a picric dyed deer hair wing which creates a nice wake when pulled across the wave
hook kamasan b175 size 10
thread black 8/0
butt red dubbing
body picric dyed dubbing
rib chartreusse utc wire
body hackle picric dyed furnace
wing picric dyed deer hair
hackle picrid dyed furnace
antennea picric gree cock pheasant tail

butt red dubbing
Body 2 peacock twisted
rib black tying silk
wing natural deer hair
hackle picric dyed furnace
antennea picric dyed cock pheasant

another pattern deadly around august when the crane fly are hatching is the silver daddy
hook kamasan b175 no 10
butt orange floss
body silver tinsel
rib silver utc wire
wing cow elk
legs knotted claret cock pheasant
hackle black shiney hen

Very nice sedge patterns (and ties) Laurie!

Those pheasant tail antennae look really good on those flies.
