Some marabou stuff
Cabin fever has set in with the shelf ice and slush. We might get a little weather window so I tied a few of these with steelhead/browns in mind. Giving the monster cones a go and I threw a size #1 gamikatsu walleye in there so you guys have an idea how it all looks.

Awesome stuff! Those things are going to get slammed.

Have you ever tried swinging this stuff for smallmouth? I would think they'd be chasing those things all over the place too.

I think any fish who regularly eats smaller fish will hit those. Is the little disc in the front a sort of wake maker?

Thanks guys, the yellow, olive and orage color combo is my favorite for smallies, browns too. The disk is supposed to create a little vortex behind it and keep the marabou "dancing". Its pretty neat the fly takes on a tear drop shape that pulsates, it even looks good in the fast stuff.

Pretty cool looking flies, congrats! The disk looks like it would really be effective, have you ever tried using one at night?
