Default shore fishing and casting instruction, Dania, Florida

Hello
I'll be in Florida (Dania/Hollywood) for a few days at the beginning of May and would like to make my first casts in saltwater. As a newbie, I'd could use both casting instruction and some pointer on how to/where to fish.

Does anyone know of some good casting instruction in the area and/or a guide?

Also, any suggestions on where to fish would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Alan
