i live in jacksonville too but i don't really fish in the surf i love my flyfishing for trout in the mountains . i do some flounder fishing and i think i'm going to try for them this year on a fly rod with some kind of minnow fly. i wish i could help but i'm headed tothe mountains in two weeks and can't wait
