Default First season trip blues, other options ?

I have, possiblely had, a fishing trip planned in the north GA mtns. 5 days of fishing and camping, I love this stuff. I've been checking the weather forecast and its not looking good, 80% chance rain all weekend. Ive done several trips there before and know first hand how BAD the weather can be (camped in what seemed like a monsoon, later found out a tornado touched a few miles from my site) and makes all the rivers unfishable. My predicament now is either stay in town and fish the local river (always fun but need a change of a scenery) or travel somewhere else to feed my addiction. I don't care if I drive a day to get somewhere, don't care if its in another state, don't care if I have to hike to a river, I just want to use those days to spend it on water in search of tail. Is there any river/creek that's worth fly fishing that you can recommend ? I want to avoid crowds, Not really big about getting a guide, don't mind if any of you want to join, willing to drive to TN NC SC (anyplace a days drive from Atlanta). I'm off April 18-22
