Default FYI Montana Water '13

Just returned from a weeks fishing trip in southwest Montana.....GREAT.....Water is dropping rapidly so if you are planning a trip or have one planned call ahead.... Madison, Big Hole, Beaverhead, and several others are being closed to floating at noon...water too low and warm...........

I can believe. Snow pack last winter was 60 to 70 percent of normal in most of the PNW. Only thing that's saved our 'butt' was a very cool Spring. We're beyond that now, here the predicted temp is 100 degrees for today.

Not quite noon and we're at 90 degrees.

Close to that for the last two weeks.

looks like a lot of 1/2 day guide trips going on...bet the parking lots on the Madison are a zoo early
