Default trout fishing

I haven't seen a thread on any trout fishing on this thread in a very long time . when I first came here about two years ago you guys helped me out a lot and I thank you for that. But now I am worried since new people come here all the time and see no new info they might turn away from this great sport. I would help out but for the last 8-9 months I am stuck on the coast side of this state and CAN"T get out to do any fly fishing in the mountains of N.C. . Maybe cause its warming up a bit there will be many more threads on here. I hope . and again thanks to all that helped me out along the way /.

Default Re: trout fishing

It's been a tough winter. That's likely why the reports have been few.
Site member cohise just started a thread about the same thing, that no one has been fishing. Some folks still have snow & frozen water to contend with. Warmer weather is trying to get here, so it won't be long. The folks here are great & I'm sure they'll be reports before long!

Nobody here fishes unless it's summer?

Here in MD the DNR has been stocking streams & ponds, but I've yet to fish at all. I've seen a few reports from guys looking for perch as they start their spawning runs up the rivers, but even that's been very limited. Between work & weather I probably won't get the chance until the end of this month. I have a weeks vacation time then!
