Default NC Coast Fly Fishing

heading down to the coast over thanksgiving to the Shallotte and Ocean Isle area. does or has anyone done any salt water fly fishing in the area. i have a new salt water setup that i hope to break in that weekend, and was just curious of any good spots or any good bites going on. i'm boatless right now so it will all be wading and wondering around style of fishing. any help is always appreciated!
