Default Book for North Carolina

Is there a comprehensive book on fly-fishing in Western North Carolina and the surrounding area?

I don't know of a book on NC Fly Fishing, but I'm sure there must be some.
Another approach you might try is a google search for North Carolina Fly Fishing. there are numerous links. Here is one fro Trout Unlimited, if you fill out their form they will send you a newsletter on fishing tips for NC.
GTS TU Regional Tips - North Carolina | Trout Unlimited - Conserving coldwater fisheries

This one has a message board discussing NC Fly Fishing:
FlyFishNC.com - North Carolina's Premier Fly Fishing Site!

Here is one on Western NC Fishing:
Western North Carolina On The Fly - Guide to Flyfishing the mountains of WNC!

Also I found that if you go to Amazon.com then click on books and then do a search for North Carolina Fly Fishing they show a number of books available.

Here's a great site for NC fly fishing.
It's actually the site that brought me here through a topic some time ago.

Another good place to get fly fishing books is your local fly shop. Actually, I like that method the best because I can browse through the book first hand before I purchase. Sometimes when you purchase a book online you find out later it isn't really what you wanted.

I saw one at the Myrtle Beach Bass Pro shops on Saturday. Mostly just maps of NC fly fishing spots. For Western NC, try calling the Andrews, NC; Murphy NC, Chambers of commerce. We have a cabin there and know that they are trying to promote fishing in the area.
