Default Smokly Mountains

Anybody here fish the Smokies? I am planning a backcountry camping/fishing trip with some friends and was looking for suggestions. I'm looking into Deep Creek and Little River since we need a place where we can drive in to camp for the first night before hiking up into the woods. We'll be going April 8th-12th. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Looks like we'll be camping at the backcountry campsite #24 for a few days and exploring the waters of Little River, Fish Camp Prong and perhaps others. I'll be sure to post a report when we get back.

Hasn't happened yet but I'm super excited about it. We'll be there from April 8th-12th. I'll post a full report upon our return.
