Watauga River Fly Fishing (3.15.09)

Floated a lesser travelled section of the Watauga today in the rain and hook up with some nice ones on the streamer bite. Temps started out in the morning in the low 50's and the rain came down for most of the afternoon. But, we need it so I'm not complaining about the rain. It's always a good day on the water but some fat butterball brownies on the streamer will light you up. hatchhunter

nice fish...
...planning to retire and move up your way maybe later this year...probably Elizabethton...been a long time since I waded a trout stream but itching to get back in the game...got a lot to learn/re-learn but will have plenty of time to do it
