Echo TR or TFO Deer Creek?

How do these two compare to each other? Preferences?

I have the 12'6" 5/6 DC and it is the bomb. Used it for steelies on the Salmon River without any problem then switched to scandi head in the summer for trout. My friend has a TR and that is also a great rod. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

I have had TFO D/C and really liked them. Look into the Echo DH rods also. They are my favorite of all echo rods. Dec Hogan designed them and I don't know if there is any better than him with a 2 hander.

I could be wrong, but I believe the TR rods were specifically designed by Tim Rajeff. There is a DH series that Dec Hogan designed.

In the end, I abandoned my spey dreams and decided to go ultralight instead. Bought a 2wt for bream and bass.
