Default Buying a Spey Line

I'm totally new to Spey Casting/Fishing.

Presently, I have a TFO Lefty Kreh "Professional" 12'6",6 weight spey rod.
I have the running line, and an Allen reel.
I will be fishing small rivers in the Fall for steelhead in the 6-8 lb range.
I'm leaning towards the S.A. Anglers Skagit Extreme Head.
What grain weight would you recommend for the above spey rod?
Anything from Airflo or Rio that would also fit the bill?
