Default picked her up last night-let the madness begin

At the Columbus F3T, I won the grand prize..my choice of an Orvis Rod which was graciously donated by Mad River Outfitters. I finally took a couple of hours off yesterday afternoon to pick up my new Helios 7Wt Switch rod. We up fitted it with a Hydros reel and of course an extra spool both lined up for Indicator and swinging. Now to get out and use this beast!!!

That sounds awesome! My next rod is going to be a 7wt switch. Unless I win a grand prize it will probably not be the Helios. I'd love to have one though.

That is an awesome prize, congrats! Report back with an update after you get a chance to give it a good workout on the water.

I'm glad it worked out for you! I'll be in Ohio tomorrow sometime. Keep the rain at a reasonable level for me, would ya?
