Default Kinnickinnic river, Wisconsin

Has anyone drifted the kinnickinnic river? Recently purchased a 9' pontoon and looking for some good areas to drift along the river. Any advise appreciated.

Sorry, I can't help you out with this one at all. Where are you from though? There may be other rivers nearby that I could give you some float ideas.

So I was browsing something for some info this morning on another topic, and ended up coming across this. Might be worth taking a look at. Sounds like it would be doable in that pontoon of yours.

Good info, so I'll assume its possible. Maybe I'll be the first and last to try. Ha!

For smallmouth bass you have the St. Croix River available, both above and below the dam. Reciprocal licenses for most of the river. I used to boat and fish regularly when I lived up there.

You have a ton of rivers right around you. Never fished the WI rivers much except way north but riding around the alphabet roads in your area we were constantly crossing rivers. Get an atlas for the state and start prospecting the "blue lines".
