I would like to find some good ones this summer on Truman Lake, MO. I know of some places where they are but everyone trolls or uses big rattletraps for them. I also want to get into some hybrids Truman has got too. Some people with a place near ours tore them up not catching any smaller than 8 pounds and they caught atleast six each. I think they would be killer on a fly rod and were hitting anything the color white.

It is a life changing experience to hook these fish on a fly. I always get the question, "how will I know if I get a strike" my answer is when you are stripping the fly in and it feels like you hooked the bumper of a speeding car and the reel handle is spinning backwards and you are praying you have enough backing, that is a possible strike Definitely give this a shot if you have never tried it .

Nice video, that looks like an absolute blast. My new goal for the summer will now be catching a hybrid on the long rod (striped bass technically aren't stocked here in WV). Thanks for posting!
