After making it through a week of earache, sore throat, headache, today I felt 1/4 human, so I headed to the river. Several L.D.R.s but here are some that did not escape..Mwahahahaha

Bream are my favorite fly rod quarry, I generally only catch bass as a surprise while throwing small poppers. I have also had some interesting luck with large shellcrackers lately, as you can see I had one take a popper, a first for me that actually wound up happening twice that trip!

I only got to go out a couple times this year, but this one was way bigger than the pic leads on.

I went down to Colorado for a few days to celebrate my grandson's birthday and while there we went out to a local pond for some fishing and had a blast (checkout the fishing vest).

Awesome! Cool vest! Nothing better than taking the little guys fishing. By the look on his face youll be doing a lot more of these outings with this young man in the future.

The kid has mastered the grip-and-grin already. Something tells me when he's older he may be gracing a fly fishing mag cover or two! Looks like a fun little trip, Larry!
